Catalytic Combustor Warranty
Midwest Hearth™ catalytic combustors are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in function, workmanship, or materials for a period of five years, provided all of the terms below are met.
Warranty Terms
To qualify for warranty coverage, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- The combustor must have been purchased directly from Midwest Hearth.
- The combustor must be used only in an E.P.A.-certified wood-burning appliance.
- The combustor must be properly sized for the appliance.
- The combustor must be used in accordance with the original appliance manufacturer's instructions and Midwest Hearth's catalytic combustor care instructions.
- The combustor must not have been mechanically abused, and only approved fuels may be used in the appliance.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers any Midwest Hearth™ catalytic combustor that fails due to a defect in function, workmanship, or materials during the five-year warranty period, provided all warranty terms above have been met.
One replacement combustor will be provided for each defective combustor returned under a valid warranty claim.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Failure due to misuse, abuse, or the use of fuels other than natural wood.
- Failure due to improper sizing or installation.
- Installation charges.
- Any incidental or consequential damages.
Please note that the consumer is responsible for the removal, packaging, and return shipping of any item submitted for a warranty claim.
Remedies & Discount Schedule
During the first 90 days following the date of original purchase, Midwest Hearth will replace a defective combustor free of charge.
After the first 90 days, prorated replacement discounts apply as follows:

How to File a Warranty Claim
Whether filing by mail or email, please include all of the following:
- The defective combustor (for mail claims) or a clear photo showing the defect (for email claims)
- A copy of the original bill of sale, showing the date of purchase, place of purchase, and price paid
- Your prorated payment, if applicable (see discount schedule above)
- A $15.00 shipping charge (domestic orders)
International customers are responsible for actual shipping costs and any applicable import duties.

This warranty is Midwest Hearth's exclusive warranty. Midwest Hearth disclaims all other express or implied warranties for the Midwest Hearth™ catalytic combustor, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
