Midwest Hearth 5/8" to 1-1/2" Natural Lava Rock will compliment your outdoor fire feature or instantly renew and enhance your fireplace. Slightly larger than our lava granules, these lava rocks work equally well in outdoor fire features or larger indoor gas log sets.
What is lava rock:
- Naturally occurring, these lava rocks are formed as volcanic magma rises to the surface, cools and releases gases which gives these rocks their coarse surface. - Because they are volcanic, they can withstand extremely high temperatures without sustaining any damage or crumbling.
