These cobalt blue fire glass beads feature a rich deep blue color.  They can enhance a contemporary fire feature or add visual pop to an outdoor gas fire pit.  Crafted from tempered glass and polished to a smooth finish.  1/2" inch average bead size for great depth of color.

Great for use with:

☑ Natural gas fire pits
☑ Propane fire pits
☑ Tabletop fire pits
☑ Linear fire pits and burners
☑ Outdoor gas fireplaces
☑ Indoor Fireplaces and gas log sets designed to use glass
☑ Electric fireplaces with glass trays

Glass features:

☆ Adds a modern look to your home's fire feature!
☆ Withstands high temperatures
☆ Uniform color for deep rich colors
☆ Will not fade or discolor over time
☆ Will not soot or produce ash
☆ 10-pounds of fire glass beads per package

Coverage:

• Each bag contains 10-pounds of fire glass
• 10-pounds of fire glass will cover approximately 1 square foot (12" x 12") if poured to a depth of 1.5 inches.
• Fireplace shape, glass positioning, and use of other media could affect the total amount you would use/need.

Indoor usage:

• Some indoor fireplaces are designed to use glass and have special tray-style burners for the glass. If your fireplace was not designed for glass media, and you are wanting to place it around your logs, you would place it in a similar fashion as lava rock. As always, consult your appliance's owner's manual for proper placement and safety advice.

Installation:

☑ To ensure optimal performance, we recommend that the glass coverage is 2-4 inches thick. Using too little fire glass can lead to glass breakage or melting. You can also pour glass over another media such as lava granules.
